Educational Partnerships
ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ partners with the local community to create meaningful educational opportunities, enriching the lives of children and families in South Bethlehem and reflecting the university’s commitment to learning, collaboration and lasting impact.
Led by our Community Service Office (CSO), ³¢±ð³ó¾±²µ³ó’s initiative serves all three public schools in South Bethlehem: Donegan Elementary, Fountain Hill Elementary, and Broughal Middle Schools. The CSO works with ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ partners and community partners to enact creative new ways to support our schools and benefit our larger community.
The Centennial School at ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ serves students ages six to 22 from local school districts and their families. The School’s two-fold mission is to educate students with challenging behaviors and prepare high-quality special education teachers.
Academic outreach strengthens ³¢±ð³ó¾±²µ³ó’s regional impact by expanding access to STEM, entrepreneurship, and college-level learning for local K–12 students. Through mentorship and hands-on experiences, they help inspire the next generation of learners across the ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ Valley.
Arts Partnerships
At ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾, the arts are a catalyst for connection, creativity, and community engagement. Through collaborative initiatives that span performance, visual arts, cultural heritage, and public festivals, ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ integrates the arts into academic life and civic partnerships. Whether through Zoellner Arts Center’s interdisciplinary programming, the University Art Galleries’ educational outreach, the Library’s rich special collections, or ³¢±ð³ó¾±²µ³ó’s presence at Musikfest, the university is advancing the arts as a powerful force for learning, dialogue, and regional impact.
