Students in the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) often comment that international opportunities, research with faculty, and hands-on learning experiences outside the classroom are the best parts of their ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ experience. Please join a group of CAS students and faculty in a panel discussion as they talk about the unique learning experiences they've engaged in. This event will offer a college overview and an opportunity to ask questions to CAS faculty and students.

In this live virtual Hawktober session, several current ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ students and staff in the Office of Student Involvement will introduce themselves, share their stories about life on campus, talk about the 200+ student clubs and organizations, and answer questions from prospective students and families.

Join Deputy Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education, Dr. Terry-Ann Jones, to learn more about our unique academic offerings through the brand new Explore ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ program.

This session will highlight programs from ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾'s Office of Creative Inquiry. The Impact Fellowship is a selective program providing opportunities for students and faculty to engage in real-world, impact-focused projects, either globally (in Sierra Leone, Kazakhstan, India, or the Philippines) or in the U.S. (San Francisco Bay Area, ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ Valley, campus, research labs). ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾360 connects every ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ student to their passions, their talents, and helps them find unique pathways through a ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ education that includes participating in high-impact programs leading to real, transformative outcomes. Come learn how ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ inspires the Future Makers!

In the Live Virtual Group Information Session, an Office of Admissions staff member will share stories about unique and exclusive academic and research experiences, our vibrant community, traditions, and life in PA’s third-largest metro area. The supportive ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ family and strong career placement are also discussed. The session concludes with admissions and financial aid basics.

During this session, participants will hear directly from members of the ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ Police Department about our commitment to providing a safe and secure environment on and around campus. Topics will include HawkWatch, active threat preparedness resources, our therapy dog program, and our 24/7 police services.

In these live virtual student panels, several current ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ students will introduce themselves, share their stories about life on campus, and answer questions from prospective students and families. Join us for their brief introductions, answers to a few pre-selected questions, and a general question and answer segment. All student panelists will be ÌÇÐÄviog¹Ù·½ÍøÕ¾ juniors and seniors.
